Internship Log – Day 53 | IDESS IT

Today marks my last day as an intern at IDESS Interactive Technologies. Looking back, this journey has been incredibly rewarding—both in terms of personal growth and technical skills. I’ve learned so much during my stay here, and I’m genuinely grateful for the supportive and collaborative environment that made the experience even more meaningful.

I truly appreciated the company culture: the chill atmosphere, the way our boss always checked in on us, the HR who made sure the pantry never ran out of coffee, and the senior developers who were always approachable whenever we had questions or needed help with our code. One of the highlights was how we, as interns, helped each other—whether it was debugging issues, figuring out code structure, or simply sharing insights. That kind of teamwork and collaboration made a huge difference and taught me the value of working together to solve problems.

When I started, I was mainly focused on frontend development, but this internship helped me grow into a more well-rounded developer. I’ve gained experience working with backend systems, learned how to interact with APIs, and understood how endpoints and server-side processes function. Most exciting of all, I was offered a position to continue working with the company—and I couldn’t be more thankful. I honestly didn’t expect it, especially with so many talented interns around me.

To top it off, I also received my Certificate of Completion and my Certificate for the Philippine Data Privacy Basics, which we earned as part of our onboarding when we started. It’s been a fulfilling experience, and I’m proud of how far I’ve come.
